An excellent day in willow class celebrating the end of our Black History Month activities discussing influential Black musicians from the past and now. We researched how musicians like Aretha Franklin and Bob Marley created lyrics that made people think about discrimination and prejudice, and how artists like Stormzy and Beyoncé have used their platform to help minority groups. We loved listening to their music while doing our own research.
