This prestigious recognition celebrates our school’s commitment to sustainable travel, active lifestyles, and safer, greener journeys to and from school. Gold is the highest level of accreditation, and it reflects the hard work of our pupils, families, and staff in reducing car use and encouraging walking, cycling, and public transport.
To achieve this award we successfully:
- Delivered over 25 travel and sustainability initiatives
- Completed consultations with students and families
- Reduced car journeys or ensured 90% of pupils travel sustainably
- Promoted road safety, active travel, and eco-awareness across our school community
