Year 6: Science: What makes up our blood?

 As part of our work on the human circulatory system, we have been learning about the different things that make our blood and their functions.  We then made a model of blood using different ingredients to represent each cell. We used water dyed yellow to represent plasma, cereal hoops dyed red to represent red blood cells, mini-marshmallows to represent white blood cells and sultanas to represent platelets.
