We enjoyed learning about Mae Jemison and her significant part in Women's History. The children were really interested to learn about her life and continued achievements.
Using our new knowledge about Mae, the children were inspired and thought hard about their own dreams and goals. These ideas were put onto a rocket to link with Mae being the first black lady to travel into space.
