Year 6: willow: fab science!

March 19, 2025

A brilliant experience today during our fab science workshop. The children worked together to extra DNA from a strawberry! This was so interesting - even though it did look a little bit gross!

After that we compared our unique characteristics such as our finger prints, taste buds and lung capacity!

A lovely way to link hands on learning to our science topic of evolution and inheritance.

Thank you fab science!
