This morning was a very special one at AGJ, as we welcomed Nicola Barrett from OPAL into our school assembly to present us with our Platinum Award!
Our assembly was a true celebration. We were joined by our Play Team, PA, volunteers from Thames Chase, and members of our whole school community as we reflected on the incredible journey we have been on over the past two years led by Mr Harris and the fantastic play offer we now have at AGJ.
Achieving Platinum status places AGJ in the top 2% of schools nationally for our play provision – what an amazing achievement! To make the occasion even more special, Mr Linham wrote us a song to sing as part of the celebrations.
Thank you for all your continued support for OPAL. The plaque will be going up very soon so keep an eye out for it!
