We were lucky enough to have a visiting Biology Roadshow led by year 7 and 8 pupils from The Royal Liberty School. We learned about the digestive system from start to finish, how lungs inflate, how the heart is structured and how eyes work. We listened to our hearts pumping blood through blood vessels, looked at cells from our cheeks under a powerful microscope and measured our lung capacities. What a fabulous opportunity for some real hands on Science!
