As part of PSHE this week Pear class were fortunate enough to look through a Parliament Loan Box. In the box were several items you would typically see in the Houses of Parliament. In our lesson we learnt about the different houses and how a bill may be passed into law. Here's a mace which is brought into the houses each day. It represents royal authority and parliamentary debates can't take place without it in place.
