We have had some very interesting debates in Cedar Class today. Among other things, we discussed whether all children should receive the same amount of pocket money, whether public transport should be free for children and even if we should allow fried food to be served in the school canteen. We have looked at how Parliament works and even decided on a few new laws we may want to pass! The children spent time looking at all the different things used in The House of Commons and The House of Lords - some of them also wanted to try on the Speaker's Robe for size. I think we may have a few future MPs among us.
