Last week, during Science Week, Year 6 explored how fossils provide evidence about living things that are now extinct. They learned how fossils help scientists understand how animals have changed over time.
The children compared an extinct animal with a living animal, identifying similarities and differences. They also considered the adaptations the modern animal has developed to survive in today’s world.
