Year 6 had their first session of 'stop the hate' lead by West Ham coaches today.
The first session spoke a lot about self esteem and the ways to build our own confidence and resilience. The children discussed sporting situations that can lead to positive and negative effects on self esteem and then came up with solutions on how to rebuild others self esteem that might have been knocked.
After discussion, the children were given the chance to show off what 'self esteem' is to them through either a drawing or writing.
A lovely session to reflect on ourselves and celebrate our successes.
