Year 6 have been learning about how the internet works and how it can be used to help people collaborate on projects. Laurel took part in a simulation of a remote working project. We pretended that we were in different locations around the country and made teams of people from different tables to work on the same project. Communicating only by using the internet (no talking allowed), we made fact files about a country. We then thought about the advantages and disadvantages of working in such a way. The teachers felt the biggest advantage was how quiet the classrooms were!
